For the record I've updated the calculator to account for multiple cores, and can recommend up to 64 slots. If your hardware turns out to be better it'll just say 64+. The code...

I'm pretty sure they do. We run many instances of HLDS on Windows 7 Server (2008 R2) and they run fine.
