Reading that, that tells me that there is a plugin that does what you need.

Search the plugins list here (http://www.amxmodx.org/compiler.php) and search for something along the lines of 'surf'

Well nothing was changed in the server.cfg or anything. A simple restart or map change solved the issue, so it wasn't a take over, however with rcon you can change the hostname and any number of...

Retsam.. No one abused that plugin, nor did they spam multiple servers. Player's servers were hacked, their hostnames were changed, some cvar's altered, and the servers locked.

Ya i already scoured my brothers logs, and i couldn't find anything changing the hostname, logging in, rcon attempts, etc. Wasn't sure if it was just restricted logging or what.

My brother hasn't installed any recent plugins that I'm aware of. He generally comes to me for help on those. I know that he does use the SourceOP DDoS protection, Rcon locker, and Kigens anti-cheat.

No, this happened on ALOT of server's, more then just 1 host, so it's not a matter of a host being hacked
