I dont think so that this is required > "exec addons/amxmodx/configs/custom_cmds.cfg".

Because the .cfg file is inside the .cfg command executor (that is amxx.cfg).

You can use your own .cfg file which will be loaded at every map start. Add your commands/cvars in it.
Follow my steps:

1. Create a new text document in configs folder (addons/amxmodx/configs/)...

No problem found in the files. If you want to add an plugin's cvar in the server, just add it in both server.cfg and amxx.cfg. Your plugin's cvar will work. If not, then tell me. Or contact me...

Okay. I cant believe this! Plugins disappearing at map changing.... I have also a HLDS (Non-Steam) and AMXX installed, its not happening with me...

Yeah why it sucks? it is a great and easy-to-use Fast DL system with 2GB. We can control the files/folders on our own way. Just tell why it sucks? Mayber it sucked you? LOL!!
