Re: VPhysics

This extension is rather old, so it still uses an "ep2v" build from before that SDK split into separate "hl2mp", "tf2", and "dods" builds.

Re: VPhysics

There is a build for DoD:S in the download archive - are you having trouble with it?

Re: VPhysics

Those are crashes in the engine's vphysics library and are unrelated to this extension (which you're not even using).

Re: VPhysics

As per the license, please also attach a copy of the source code you built it from with all the modifications you made (since I know it doesn't build out of the box for CS:GO).

Re: VPhysics

Sorry for the delay, it's up on GitHub now. I haven't had a chance to get the build system going, so it'll probably take some work to build it for CS:GO.

Re: VPhysics

He said CS:S in his original post, and following Powerlord's instructions would've worked fine.

Re: VPhysics

What game? What broke?

EDIT: If CS:S, you'll need to rename the ep2v build to have the css engine suffix if you're using SM 1.5.

Re: [PREVIEW] VPhysics

Yes.

It should work just fine.
Check the SM error logs and the output of 'sm exts list' and then 'sm exts info <??>' using the number for vphysics from list.

The orange box valve version should work for hl2mp for now, however it is currently untested.

Re: [PREVIEW] VPhysics

This doesn't provide anything for users, it's an extension for developers to use in their SM plugins.

Look at javalia's Build Mod (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1298878) and...

Re: [PREVIEW] VPhysics

I tried this and it worked fine.

Does it happen repeatedly? Do you have a map / code that spawns a vehicle that crashes?

Re: [PREVIEW] VPhysics

There are a few entity flags that override the motion control etc.. You see this on the radiators in hl2mp, even if you freeze them they will still move if you touch them or pick them up.
