I dont use no-steam.

I dont promote no-steam, infact i always encourage my players on my server to buy the original Steam version since its better and more stable/updated than most no-steam...

Valve idea/creation? You are nuts, it was made by 3 random guys (James Ohlen, Jess Cliffe, Minh Le), Valve just bought the rights and then further developed the game.

Our parents teach us to save money. We dont live in Germany like you do, litterly the MOST rich contry in EUROPE by a mile. Youth unemployment is 30/40% in most "poor" Europe contrys, while Germany...

Money is the issue. Most, if not all non-steamers are kids that live in shitty poor contrys like Russian Brazil Portugal, and cant aford it.

CS:1.6 costs 8€, you may think its low price, but...

- Its 2018, litterly everybody has good internet (specially for CS:1.6 requirements).

Anyways, i already said what values should people be using in 'rate', 'cl_updaterate', 'cl_cmdrate'.

In my contry, CS:1.6 costs the same as 1 month of internet (10~ MB speed).
This conversation makes no sense, stop judging other ppl, most non-steam players are kids or people with not much money to...

I play 1.6 for over 10 years, and only recently i got Steam (because a friend bought me).
CS:1.6 should be free, especially now, or atleast his price drastically reduced.
