Looks like it's just sdkhooks then, on our Windows it's working on the most recent build of SM 1.8. Linux however won't boot if the sdkhooks.ext is on.

Not too sure what you meant by that, but if you want the script reply with your OS and version. Might/probably will need to be tweaked if you don't use debian or something of the similar.
