Well, I ended up switching to SteamWorks yesterday. Had a bit of a tough time figuring out the HTTP request functionality due to the lack of documentation but I got it to work in the end.

Getting back on the original threadline: Isn't SteamTools "lighter"?

I mean, I only need the Master Server restart request, the steam server network events (connected(), disconnected(), etc.) and...

I've read the release notes on both extensions and they seem to do the same thing.

What is the main difference between the two of them? And when should I use one or another?

MasterServer Restart Request still working?

I'm on Linux and I'm getting the steam server disconnection events but not the ones about the update.

Is it still working!?
