That's just a stock which returns true (only if string treated as true) or false (in any other case), you don't have to use it. It was just an example of simple/advanced conversion.

You can put __nullable__ into methodmap definition like

methodmap ConfigMap < StringMap __nullable__ {


and then you are able to use
ConfigMap hCfg = new ConfigMap();

Not really, flex animations are client-side and SourceMod can't control client-side things like GMod does it.

1) You shouldn't use public keyword for functions that are not callbacks.
2) Your code prints message on plugin start (actually not on server start) so if you reload plugin, late plugin load happens...
