Re: [L4D2] The Passing Update

In terms of MM not working with the latest update, this isn't Valve's fault as they're not responsible for making sure their game is compatible with 3rd party apps.

We'll have to wait until MM/SM...

Re: [L4D2] Forced Spawn Be-gone

Well that would make sense :D It's the same for me. Will try this later.

Re: [L4D2] Forced Spawn Be-gone

Well I did this anyway, despite my reservations :) It didn't work; the spawning happens twice in Parish finale. I used HLSW to test it and it appears to work there, though.

So I must be doing...

Re: [L4D2] Forced Spawn Be-gone

Am I missing something here?

The commands have spaces in, which obviously make it not work in a cfg? How do I need to type it in, with quotation marks?

Thanks

Re: [L4D2] Player Unstick

This needs to be approved again. I've used this twice since the charger fix. I was a charger myself when using it.

This is still a very useful plugin and I'm keeping it on my server indefinitely.

Re: [L4D] Forced Spawn Be-gone

Hiya

Any chance this might be made available for L4D2 in the future? Would be very much appreciated (can't stand Dark Carn finale atm, for one).

Re: [L4D2] Scavenge Map Rotation

Well downtown's plugin allows score reset to 0, but I haven't got that to work yet so...

If it's too tough to code then no worries.

[L4D2] Scavenge Map Rotation

Hiya

I'd love to be able to play a scavenge game on my server and when the game is finished, have a cvar that cancels the rematch vote and instead the server loads the next map in a rotation,...

Re: [L4D] SM Respawn command plugin

Use HLSW, right click their name on the admin screen, copy > name - job done.

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

I've looked into this and can find no way to do so. func_ladders are created during compile, not during map execution - so there's no way to add a ladder via the stripper in L4D, from what I can see...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

That's a boolean command.

At any rate, I have pill density set low. But I've tested the cabinets and they don't have actual physical spawns inside them, they most likely run off their own logic -...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

This would be the time Stripper parses the entity text file to perform its actions.

The thing is, it seems to do this even if no config file exists for a map, so it must be doing a lot of non...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

1 and 2 and 4. simply do not sound like bugs caused by the stripper at all. 3 certainly is and unless BAILOPAN has time/ability to release an optimisation, this cannot be fixed.

I'm quite happy to...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

I think that's an oversight, didn't mean to release those changes - will fix it when I'm back home tomorrow - in the meantime, you can remove these changes from the config file if you want.

I did...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

getpos tells you the current coordinates of your character (at about eye level). It also shows your angles, too.

If you want, you can also use setpos to go to a coordinate location quickly (this...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

By the way, I've used Stripper with L4D to create a whole batch of L4D config files to help improve many of the standard maps.

I've, of course, credited BAILOPAN, for the excellent Stripper. If...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

The load times can be excessive on the larger maps. Bailopan, do you know if there's a reason why the load times can be so excessive? I understand this would add to load times, but it seems like on...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

You can add it to the global.cfg file, which will apply the filter to all maps, or you can create a map file in the maps folder, name it mapname.cfg (no spaces, exact map name) and put those lines...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

Use "prop_dynamic" and also "solid" "6" and it should work for you, providing you have up to date MM and also you're using the correct stripper version (linux or windows). I tested my stripper...

Re: Stripper:Source (1.2 w/ L4D support)

Hi :)

It's working fine for me, I even used the exact same model and classname, only used a different origin on NM1 right at the spawn for testing.

A note, to make it solid you need to add...

Re: [L4D] Score/Team Manager

Cool, cheers. Was away for a long time so had no idea that wasn't the latest one.

Works fine.

I've added the sm_resetscores to my "locked" config (used when we play on the server only, not when...

Re: [L4D] Score/Team Manager

Weird, it's just not loading at all.

SourceMod v1.2.0-dev is the version I have; txt file in gamedata folder, smx in plugins folder. None of the l4dscores commands are recognised at all.

What's...
