Hello,
I have a 1v1 server and a while ago i started getting these empty players taking up server slots, however in the past days it has gotten worse and there are 20 fake players and only 10 legit...

Actually it does mean a lot. Many kids dont have access to a credit card (even those who do wont spend money to hack). And most people wont get bothered to even risk their credit card / paypal / time...

For some reason had the exact same issue. If your server has a custom mod, delete all default maps if you aren't using them (de_dust2, de mirage . . .) And try updating. If it doesn't work try...

Here is a raw test plugin, the same issue persists, i thought this will be better than just posting pieces of the main plugin.
