Re: Entities inputs\outputs

It is a lot saner to use an actual timer rather than (ab)using entity outputs, you can use entity references to make sure the timer dies alongside it's associated entity.

Re: [CS:GO] Server randomly crashing.

The problem is precaching after the end of OnMapStart, nothing to do with OnConfigsExecuted other than a) its a popular place to precache things and b) it is after OnMapStart.

Re: Accelerator - Crash Reporting That Doesn't Suck

Unlikely, it would be in direct conflict with planned work, and thus unlikely to be able to be kept in the future.

What's the use case?

I'd be interested in seeing the changes anyway to direct...

Re: compiling sourcemod (Ambuild error!...)

Everything seems to be fine, I'm not sure why your build is failing.

Re: [CS:GO] Server randomly crashing.

Is it possible that you linked the wrong crash report? That one is definitely that problem.

Re: Accelerator - Crash Reporting That Doesn't Suck

It looks like Throttle's error monitoring and logging hasn't been working since the site upgrades in November - that has hopefully been fixed and next time it happens I should have more to go on.

Re: Accelerator - Crash Reporting That Doesn't Suck

The problem is not on your end.

No, POST requests do not get redirected.

SourceMod's HTTP interface does not support HTTPS.

Re: Accelerator - Crash Reporting That Doesn't Suck

This seems to be affecting a small number of crash dump submissions (0.66% of the last 24hrs), I am looking into it.

Re: Quick question on checking GetUserFlagBits(client)

No, and there is no need to implement a cvar for setting permissions if you're using CheckCommandAccess.

Re: Quick question on checking GetUserFlagBits(client)

GetUserFlagBits should never be user for permission checks, use CheckCommandAccess.

Re: GetClientAuthId giving STEAM_ID_STOP_IGNORI

That is not correct, OnClientAuthorized provides the Steam2 format (if available).

Re: GetClientAuthId giving STEAM_ID_STOP_IGNORI

It also won’t change anything in relation to calls inside OnClientAuthorized.

Re: compiling sourcemod (Ambuild error!...)

You don't need to run vcvars32.bat if you're using the visual studio tools command prompts, just run configure.

It looks like your VS install is slightly broken though.

Re: GetClientAuthId giving STEAM_ID_STOP_IGNORI

GetClientAuthId is returning false because the client is not authenticated/validated yet, and you aren't checking the return value before using the buffer.

Re: compiling sourcemod (Ambuild error!...)

You aren’t following the instructions.

You need to be running from the Visual Studio x86 Native Tools command promt.

Re: compiling sourcemod (Ambuild error!...)

If you don’t intend to make mchangew to it, you can just use the MySQL extension from the latest snapshot build alongside your compiled binaries.

Re: compiling sourcemod (Ambuild error!...)

You either need to get the MySQL dependencies (checkout-deps handles this for you), or configure with --no-mysql to skip building the MySQL extension.

Re: Real time synchronization for mapcycle

There are quite a few “cron” plugins around, just use one to change the mapcyclefile cvar.
