I think it was introduced by the update, fbef0102 tried to fix the problem in a post Last Stand update to Multislots, by granting godmode before the finale rescue vehicle leaves, sadly it didn't...

That's unfortunate. I don't mind so much myself but some of my friends don't have the achievements and if they're unlucky enough to be assigned a clone, they wont survive the rescue.

Just tested the new version, although the console reports,

In the credits it still said 1 Coach was dead and...
