Re: Data/gamedata

gamedata is an 1.9 feature so you should link to the dev builds download page, not 1.8.2

Re: Changing sprite angle?

Scale with a negative value is mirroring so your idea should work, at least in theory.

Re: enum conflict with arguments bug report

Go to github and open an issue, but I doubt it will get fixed (soon). In the meantime, a good way to avoid this is to prefix your enums with a designated letter or prefix: eDmg, eLastHit.

Re: Invalid index 0 (count 0) help me fix it

Re: Your favorite programming language?

You should probably spend more than 2 seconds reading a post. I wasn't saying it is or it isn't bad.
If pawn's simplicity is not the problem, then what is it?

Re: Your favorite programming language?

They are probably saying it's bad because it is so simple and it lacks most of the bells and whistles from other languages.

Re: Create Sprite Without Txt

Do you want to replace weapon-related hud sprites without preaching the corresponding .txt file?

Re: Array Size

This "reason" doesn't make any sense to me. Just test your code, it's not hard and it's so much faster than waiting for someone else to test for you.
Make a little plugin with only the code you are...

Re: [HELP] Change Duration of Smoke

Just to clear things up, you are not removing the world model, you are removing the grenade entity which has the w_ model. And if the entity is gone then it can't explode.

Re: [HELP] Hook Custom Entity Being Destroyed

Won't work. Killed is not called. In CBreakable::TakeDamage, when health < 0 Die() is called instead.

Yes, check if the value retrieved from pev_classname is func_myent. Also check if the...

Re: [HELP] Change Duration of Smoke

The smoke is created using a message(TE_SMOKE or something, can't check rn). You have to block the original message and send your own. This way you can customize the duration.

Re: [HELP] Hook Custom Entity Being Destroyed

Create your entity as func_breakable and use set_pev pev_classne with your classname(func_myent).
Hook TakeDamage with func_breakable. Inside take_damage retrieve pev_classname and check against...

Re: Orpheu Signature Help

What do you mean it doesn't work? The function is not found? It is found but your hook is never called?

Also, don't bump.

Re: Unreachable code

Don't return from every single branch, it's completely useless here.

if code return else code return
return

is the same thing as
if code else code
return

Re: HUD remove/destroy

As I said, post the plugin. No one is going to waste time with an XY problem and there's no generic answer since a hud message is not permanent.

Re: what's the problem?

Why would someone have the amxx and not the sma? The license forbids distributing plugins without source.

Re: what's the problem?

Your protection is useless and can be broken in several ways. The only way to keep your plugin private is not to share it with anyone else.

One way to break it:
1. Hook set_fail_state with...

Re: Which method is more efficient?

With the first method, it is possible the algorithm will never converge or converge after a really long time(i.e all new generated points are inside the R\C area) which will end up being much slower...
