Would file inconsistencies cause a player kick? I know that's how it works in TF2 and I'm fairly certain CSGO has it setup like that as well with sv_consistency.

Setup a fastdl server if you don't have one and upload the files on there zipped into bz2 files so the clients can download the content if you haven't. Otherwise make sure all file paths are correct...

Nope, I assume you did the testing to make sure everything works. Besides adding the check once the plugin is loaded for connect to set the default value, nothing I changed indicates severe problems....
