Lua and SourcePawn are quite different languages, in my experience with both. Lua doesn't use the bracket coding that SourcePawn does, which honestly is my biggest hurdle when it comes to SourcePawn....

I don't think that anyone is going to do this because it's against Valve's rule (http://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/server_guidelines/).

TBH Valve has been pretty good with dates lately. Other than the operations, of course, but hopefully that'll get better once Source 2 is pushed :P
