Add the following check inside the post-damage hook to make sure the damage hasn't been blocked by another plug-in because the forward will still trigger anyway:
GetHamReturnStatus() != HAM_SUPERCEDE

You forgot to close up your condition which probably only checked if EOS is true instead of if value equals EOS.

not sure, but it looks like it's using some other animation. try forcing the animation you use when "driving" it after you spawn it.

What you said works both when crouching and standing and if I'm not mistaking only on oblique walls.
A sideways TraceLine should do the trick.
Anyway, I would recommend using WhBlocker instead.

You can use sprites for the camera model as they have almost 0 performance impact when rendered.
Smallest sprite in CS is "sprites/radio.spr".

If I'm not mistaking, tutor messages' resources are defined client-side, so I don't think you can use different resources.
