Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

The error is that the gamedata file is missing, not that it's outdated.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

Because TF2 will load the "ep2v" file just fine if a "tf2" one doesn't exist, which is why you see it in that message.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

What does that have to do with SMRCon?

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

I thought that I had updated the source code link in the first post, but apparently I did not. It should work now.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

Deja vu.

Someone already posted an updated one a page back.

Which then eric0279 asked about, and got running. He's now just back asking the same question again, forgetting that he already...

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

You don't have a plugin that uses SMRCon, else it would show on that list (failed or otherwise).

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

Whoops. It looks like I accidentally compiled it against the linux client libvstdlib.so (the same as the old name for the server's) instead of the linux server libvstdlib_srv.so.

I'll try to make...

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

No, it should especially work fine on the 1.5 branch. On 1.4, you don't even have to rename it.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

Delete the file with ".css." in the name. Rename the ".ep2v." one to ".css.".

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

The latest version posted will not work on CS:S with SM 1.4.x until the next CS:S update. It should be fine on the SM 1.5 dev builds.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

I have no desire to look into a possible conflict with another extension (which may be the issue itself) that I have no plans to ever use.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

There was no reason to update on CS:S. Due to TF2/DODS/HL2DM's changes, the current version of this only supports CS:S on SM 1.5+ until CS:S updates.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

The zip on the first post has been updated with a new linux build for ep2v and fixed gamedata for csgo. The Makefile in the repository has also been updated with the ep2v changes.

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-09-09)

That's unfortunately normal. I wasn't going to recompile each build when the only new one was CS:GO. (the css one is a rename, and all other changes were gamedata).

Re: SM RCon (updated 2012-03-10)

I'll fix this within the next day or so, adding CS:GO support at the same time, as well as support for CS:S on SM 1.5 without having to rename files or other nonsense.
