maybe your box is behind a firewall like iptables.

service iptables stop

/etc/init.d/iptables stop

try to disable them..

You should change the working directory to where you placed hlds_run file.

I think you are not in the same directory with hlds_run.

Put the following line somewhere in your moddir/server.cfg :

__sxei_srv_upg "0"

There is a cvar that disabled checking of sXe-Injected updates on map changes.

Post the running plugins here to give more information. I don't think mp_c4timer or mp_rounddtime causes a problem
