That may be so, but the Desert Eagle used in L4d likely uses the .44 magnum rounds (10.9x33) (You can tell this because of the eight round clip) which are noticeably weaker than the .50 action...

There's still the problem of the M60 being dropped when it runs out of ammo though. Very annoying to be camping next to an ammo pile and then accidentally and irreversibly drop your best weapon...

But you have to VPK the .txt for it to work. Unless you're saying to edit Pak01_dir with notepad++ to trick it into using the alternate script.

How do I make the original file unavailable? Wouldn't I have to modify pak01_dir in my servers directory?...
