Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

I know it can be a problem, but I can't do anything about it. I haven't had any complaints on the servers we run though. It is the default setting for TF2 so if it doesn't work the player probably...

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

The command is built into TF2, not in the plugin. The confirmation cannot be disabled (to prevent abuse I guess). If it doesn't work, you can try the rebind manually as stated in the startpost. If it...

How many servers do you have configured ? I believe the max is 10.

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

No all the plugin does is activate the code in the TF2 client when you want to switch server, so I can't do anything about it :grrr:

I'll make the [hop] part in the advertisements a CVAR in the...

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

Yes that's possible. I currently have six and they all show up. The maximum is 10 servers.

I have not had any reports of crashing or lag. Perhaps try a different version of the socket extension.

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

Thanks :)

I can't make that message disappear unfortunately, it's built in in the TF2 client.

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

Look at the example serverhop.cfg.

"Gravedigger #2"
{
"address" "84.27.140.226"
"port" "27016"
}Do not enter "host:port".

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

No, you can specify ports in the configfile. It defaults to 27015 if you leave it out.

Re: Server Hop [v0.8.1, updated 2010-03-21]

Sorry for the long wait, but as I don't run my own TF2 server anymore it took a bit of work to debug this thing :grrr:

I found the problem and have put up version 0.8.1 (see first post). This...

Re: Server Hop [v0.8, updated 2010-01-10]

I haven't been able to fix it yet. Since the latest server update, the servers simply do not respond to the A2S_INFO query I send. Not sure if this is a problem in the socket extension or my code :|

Re: Server Hop [v0.8, updated 2010-01-10]

Hmm. Maybe the protocol was changed with the last update. I'll have a look at it soon.

Re: Server Hop [v0.8, updated 2010-01-10]

I cannot reproduce this, both changing the cvar dynamically on the console and changing it in the server or plugin config works fine on my server. Must be something wrong with your server...

Re: Server Hop [v0.8, updated 2010-01-10]

Just a small update, the plugin and the socket extension seem to work fine in SourceMod 1.3 :grrr:

Re: Server Hop [v0.8, updated 2010-01-10]

Somebody reported that it worked, I have not tested it myself. But looking at the message you get, are you sure you are not firewalled or something ? Looks like a network issue.

Re: Server Hop [v0.8, updated 2010-01-10]

I know of this issue, but there is not much I can do about it as Sourcemod does not provide a way to determine the IP & port the server is running on, so it cannot filter itself out. Just remove the...

Re: Server Hop [v0.61, updated 2010-01-05]

Good to hear that it works with SM 1.3, thanks for trying it out :)

Working on a new version at the moment which will include server advertisements and fixes some issues with server-down detection.

Re: Server Hop [v0.6, updated 2010-01-03]

Thanks for testing this ! I was able to reproduce it and fixed a rather simple but nasty bug :grrr: Version 0.61 is available, give it a try.

Thanks, I'll look into it for the next version.

Re: Server Hop [v0.6, updated 2010-01-03]

It updates every minute so it should disappear quickly. An error will also be logged. Can you check if it logged an error in your TF2 logs ?

Re: Server Hop [v0.6, updated 2010-01-03]

It's a TF2 client thing. By default F3 is bound to "askconnect_accept".

Try bind "F3" "askconnect_accept" in console to reset the bind on your client.

Re: Server Hop [v0.6, updated 2010-01-03]

I can add that in the upcoming version.

If you mean if you can specify a hostname instead of an IP adress in the configurationfile, you can do that already :)

Re: Server Hop [v0.6, updated 2010-01-03]

That means the plugin cannot query the server. errno 111 means "Connection refused". I have added 85.234.148.10:27125 to my own configuration and didn't get any errors. Most likely this is (or was) a...

Version 0.6 is now available. This should fix the issue with long servernames and adds some other stuff. See the original post for the changelog.
