Precisely, and if someone were kind enough to do so, the entire linux community would be back in business (there seems to be 2 of us!)

No this error is a result of the recent update L4D received at the end of 2015

To my knowledge the current status of linux l4downtown results in this error 100% of the time, probably a quick fix...

Super long shot, but has anyone taken a look at l4downtown for the l4d1 Linux users since the 2015 update?

I've got a GS and would love to get l4downtown up and running (for l4d1)
