I run 1.17.1p9 becuase the developers are helpful. Hullu was trying to fix a specific problem with Digital Paintball for me. I sent a bug to the real metamod developers and got nothing.

Yes. The 1.17 version of metamod wasnt made for the DPB 2.1 servers. But 1.17.1 which has the DPB 2.1 mod support has this glitch with the hit messages.
