mirror bug fixed in this version(may fixed some crashes).
include debug version, so if you have some problems you can run it and post here debug log, so i can take a look.

Btw ivailosp, while you're at it, do you know why the l4d1 linux version crashes with a segment fault on startup?

Any fixes for that?

Tried the non-debug version first, crashed the server within a couple of minutes probably. Server restarted, crashed again very soon. Restarted it again, then it was on 9/20 for like ~20 minutes and it crashed again.

On my other server i'm running the debug version now, with srcds through gdb and full logging/debugging on.

Runs for 30 minutes now on 16/16, no crash yet.

Edit:

My 20vs server crashed after mapchange once c2m5 was completed. Same map as it crashed on earlier, happens a lot.

No l4dtoolz debug log was written though so it had to be something else.

l4d2 only

Confirmed to be crashing in game on linux server, just as Marvel said. Crashed two times, about 35-40 seconds in game.

Edit. After third server startup, it has been up and running for a bit over 2 hours so far without a crash. We have managed to play dead center and Dark carnival with other words. I wonder why it crashed 2 times instantly, and on third time it dident crash.

sooo you use debug version of the plugin - can you give me the logs. btw the debug version try to read some memory before locking it and that can be the problem. and for l4d1 - i dont really want to start fixing the plugin, but soon i will do it.
anyway - debug version exist only to create debug file for the ppl with problems, so i can take a look at it - its not to run server with it. try 1.0.0.9x it did fix small bug when wrong memory is addressed and in some little cases may crash your server(it dont create log file).
btw l4dtoolz debug logs is in root dir and call l4dtoolz_debug_xx_xx_xx.log

Well, I'm not running the debug version, but the nondebug version made by server crash twice just after adding it to the server. Its been working fine since then and has been going on Dead center, dark carnival and swamp fever without a crash. I will try put the debug version up untill next crash. Maybe it was just a server startup problem?

It's installed, i'll let you know :)

I unloaded the old one, uploaded the new one and loaded the new one and it crash few minutes later on mapchange.

I'll wait for the next crash, it happens more when I unload/load during players connected (it was 15/20) that it crashes.

It crashed again on mapchange to c1m1hotel from the parish final.

Here are the logs :) Hope you can make something out of it. I posted them all, some are probably duplicates of the previous ones, just to make sure :wink:

Hehe I already didn't understand why it had exactly the same size :wink:

I've installed this now on two 20vs servers and deleted the logfiles. I'll let you know if something happens.

Here are the first server logs from one 20vs server. The other 20vs server is actually running good now, it survived like 3 campaigns already :) but I'm sure that one will crash sooner or later as well. If it does I'll post the logs from that one as well.

Ok got another crash, same server. Other server still running fine. Please check: http://www.xs4all.nl/~mkools/l4d/ for the logfiles. File was too big to attach it here.

I have another 16vs linux server, which I ran through gdb. It took 26/27 hours for that one to crash. This was the error, doesn't say anything to me but maybe it's usefull for you:

k other 20vs server crashed as well after about 12 hours, little more.

I seperated the logs in my webspace:

Ivailosp, did you notice anything wrong with those logs Marvel posted?
Any progress with a new .so file that might work?

Btw, the bug you fixed earlier is not fixed with the new version. the crash on "meta unload" command is what im talking about.

from the logs i can see l4dtoolz works as intended, nothing wrong, but :P there is some "but"
maybe, just maybe unlocking slots 18+ is done in proper way
any way - i has some optimized of the plugin and i will share it soon.
now i will start to work on l4d1 or some deigne changes to the plugin. (waiting for new dlc)

Sorry I haven't been able to test it yet. I have to do a server reinstall since some files were modified for downtown and I have been busy all day.

9/18 now. mapswitch was ok. I'm still not on x/20, need to upgrade my slots first that will probably be changed tomorrow.

I have it on 20/20 now, still running fine :) Adjusted the cvars without restarting. Thanks for fixing this ivailosp, that 18 max really sucked :)

Edit:

Just crashed on mapchange. Don't have debug version running. But I changed the cvars during play so it might be that, i'll wait and see what it does now.

Seems to be running stable now :)

Ivailosp,

It's crashing way more often then with downtown. I think every 3/4 hours maybe more. It looks like the same crashes as with L4D2 (on mapchange). I have put up the debug version. I'll give you the logs on the next crash.

Edit:

Looks like the debug version is not debugging, I don't get any logfiles.

Edit 2:

It works now, I have a logfile, no crash yet but I will post it as soon as it crashes :)

sv_steamgroup 1389124,3483,1363396

I have complete renew the servers. My new 2 Servers atm has 14 mods there and run 24/7, so 20 Player SuperVersus w/ infected bots 1.9.1, Team Panel, HP Regen, Vicious Tank Spawns, (Multi) Tanks with 60000 hp and much more :). My servers are rent by a hoster with gigabit and core i7 power :)

Btw tanks with 60.000 hp, are u serious? You have server crashes? You use a co-located host or a gameserver hoster?
