Tried everything but it just crashes if it's more than 18 players damn

Do you know why l4downtown is max 18? Maybe that has something to do with servers crashing if its more than 18?

Had it once a couple weeks back. First round restarts but scores remain, never saw it again.

Yeah, that's what's happening to me, first round restarts and the scores remain...but it happens every time, and I don't know whether or not it does it a second time because I haven't been bothered to play through it again.

I tried to start a COOP server on 20 slots - crashes. Sometimes 2-3 times per hour, sometimes 1 time per 5-8 hours.

So i made 18 slots - same problem
16 slots - works fine. 16 players + 6-8 bots (AFK + Infected) seems stable.
Stable for me = 24 hours w/o crashes.

While your at it, can you find out why this plugin seems to cause the map to reload at the end of a round in vs as well as the first teams distance score not counting.

Actually, it seems not to be this plugin, and it's not any other either, about 99% of the time it happens, even if I have no plugins in at all...

1st round problem happen if the server is started as coop and then used mp_gamemode versus. just add +map "map_name versus" to command line and see it it fix the problem

It fixed the points issue, but it still reloads the map when it finishes it.

Hmm this also causes the game to hang at the end of the first campaign, when the survivors escape in the car..

It just freezes the screen for everybody and people are able to chat but cant cast votes on new campaign or something

I guess it could also be the absence of FMC plugin that's causing this, haven't tested it yet

FMC was always buggy on my server, Try nextcampaign from jonny...

Hm, it didn't change when I finished it, though it could be for several reasons, first off, I do not actually know if the plugin needs anything other than just to be put in, it seems to have no cvars... weird.

Secondly, I couldn't get past the first level so I changeleveled to the finale, finished it, it didn't work...but it reloaded the first map of the campaign and sent me to menu.

Overall, my tests are very untrustworthy.

I'm using 1.0.0.9b (your snapshot) with these cvars, on a windows server.

Though I have fixed most of my problems now.

I wish I could use this for 26 players but the truth is it just crashes when there are more than 18-20 (human) players...

This plugin modifies something permanently in your L4D2, even after I removed this plugin, there are still some bugs which started appearing after I installed this plugin.

If a bot dies, it sometimes randomly disappears completely, as if it's kicked from the server. And it also happens when someone disconnects. Instead of it switching to a bot, the bot just disappears, making me have to use sb_add every time someone joins or leaves, causing the bot to have 100 HP and dual pistols.

That is pretty normal on a server with more then 4 survivors,
but I hardly think it's caused by this plugin.
And if it was, it would have dissapered when you removed the plugin.

Valves new update fixes ghost spawn so I guess you could use valves method.

I don't understand too much script, but when reserved slots hides a slot, it changes sv_visiblemaxplayers according to the max slots.

From reservedslots.sp:

I have sv_visiblemaxplayers set to 8, but the reservedslots plugin changes it to 31 when sm_hide_slots set to 1.

Would you be able to fix this by adding a new cvar?
or is this problem beyond the scope of your plugin?

satannuts bots need and you extra slots in this game. so your calculation is wrong - you dont need to get max slot nuber, but number saved in sv_maxplayers
