What is the difference between 6 and 6b?

i don't remember, but 1.0.0.6 have some kind of bug and i have to fix it in 6b

I tested snapshot on linux but seems not working.
I want to build as 12 players coop, so I wrote config in server.cfg for this plugin:

sv_maxplayers 12
sv_removehumanlimit 1
sv_unlock_sb_add 0
sv_force_unreserved 0
sm_cvar survivor_limit 12

and I could set cvar of this plugin(confirmed by type that cvars without value), but I couldn't join the server as 5th players because of there was full. status command says (12 max), but built-in serverbrowser says 4/4 players.

remove this cvar from server.cfg, then start the server and type "sv_maxplayers 12" and "sv_removehumanlimit 1" in console. if some of this commands output some error paste it here. if they dont see if "status" command report max players correctly ie 12
edit: hm, i have to add some debug information, didnt i? :)

Is there any way that we could make the server load those cvars at the right time? Like you said, they are not working if you put them in server.cfg, but i don't want to input them manually on every server i have every time i start them :(


By the way, really nice job on the quick porting for linux, i still haven't tested the plugin fully but afaik it works, the maximum players var on the status commands is right and the games get unreserved.

EDIT: i just tested this plugin for loading the cvars, apparently the maxplayers is accepted but not the unreserve lobby one. The cvar is set to 1 but the games stays reserved.

sv_force_unreserved must be set before lobby ppl enter the server

as for server.cfg - when i put my cvar for both lindows and linix it work, but not for some ppl - did you try to put them in server.cfg

anyway can you tell me about your linux - like version and etc., because this plugin crash for some ppl

No errors appeared when I typed the console that cvars and status command says 12 players max, but still L4D2's serverbrowser says 4 players max.

how do you see this "serverbrowser" - the one form steam->Servers or ingame, seam group server or via friends playing list

typed "openserverbrowser" in console. not lobby list (group servers or friends list).

ok, i see...
i will make debug version of the plugin witch will tell me more about this problem and when run it i will have the information why this plugin dont work for you
