Using Entity Storage (iuser/fuser)

Usually, when i'm working with entity's. I always use there "iuser1/2/3/4" to store small variables, but I use them very often, and it's alot more convenient.
But is there any down fall to this? Does setting/getting entity data, ~bad?

The worst it can happen, i guess, is concurrent usage by two different plugins.

I think iuser1/2 is used to store the clients spectating information if you are using it on a player.

and fuser2 is triggered after jumping to generate the slowdown on landing, also on players

but these are made specially for this usage, so use them freely with entities
