TE_PLAYERATTACHMENT

Will the TE_PLAYERATTACHMENT temp entity work for entites other than players (ie: monsters)? If so, can you send it as MSG_ONE so that it will only appear for one person? If not, do you know of any way to make something similar for an entity besides a player?

It works for anything with a gun, such as grunts. But it wont work if the gun isnt an entity players can pick up, like assasins.

Dont know about the msg_one though.

Why does the entity need a weapon with them for the attachment to work correctly?

I wouldn't imagine so:

Code:
#define TE_PLAYERATTACHMENT         124 // attaches a TENT to a player (this is a high-priority tent) // byte (entity index of player) // coord (vertical offset) ( attachment origin.z = player origin.z + vertical offset ) // short (model index) // short (life * 10 );
