Requires Dukehacks. Since this plugin uses a think hook, it is not light on resources.

Thanks to DeviusCreed for this thread, Nalidor for the fake crit code and DJ Tsunami for a solution to the log spam.

Allows pyros to airblast jump
Fixes a bug where you sometimes spawn with 8 flares rather than 16
Increases pyro's run speed to that of medics (optional)
Gives flamethrower infinite ammo for obligatory skill videos (optional)
Variable afterburn duration dependant on damage dealt - Graph (optional)
To stop the backburner from being useless, you can use secondary fire to dash (like Warsow) and fire downwards to glide. While gliding you use ammo around 2.5x as quickly.

Cvars:
sm_pyro_abjump (1) - Enable airblast jump.
sm_pyro_dash (1) - Enable dashing.
sm_pyro_glide (1) - Enable gliding.
sm_pyro_abpower (266.66) - Airblast jump strength.
sm_pyro_glidepower (15.0) - Backburner glide strength.
sm_pyro_glideangle (45) - Angle needed to glide. (setting this to 89 means you can only glide if you look straight down, -89 if you want flame pushback all the time)
sm_pyro_dashpower (500.0) - Dash strength.
sm_pyro_dashdelay (1.5) - Delay between dashes.
sm_pyro_dashfiredelay (0.5) - Delay before firing after a dash.
sm_pyro_speed (1) - Make pyros run at medic speed.
sm_pyro_varburn (1) - Make afterburn duration dependant on damage dealt.
sm_pyro_backcrit (75) - Backburner crit angle. (setting to more than 90 will result in more facecrits than normal)
sm_pyro_fireaxe (1) - Make the fireaxe ignite people. (I think this needs SM 1.2.1 or above)
sm_pyro_ammo (0) - Give flamethrower infinite ammo.

To do:
Make being critted by a backburner do the equivalent of 10 sm_drugs simultaneously
Break the plugin into several smaller ones if anyone wants me to

Needs DukeHacks so it won't compile on the forums. Attached version compiled with 1.2.1

Updated to 1.1, there's now a reason to use backburner along with fixing being able to move around in spawn at the start of a round.

Heh, I actually have had a airblast jump plugin written for awhile too. I wrote it before i wrote the code you have linked. the 3-pg servers are running that ab jump plugin now. I came here cause there is a very minor bug in it and i was searching for a wait to fix it. I suspect you might have the same bug as I use Dukehacks also and its somewhat related to that. I shall compare our code and post more about it later if the bug is there.

Edit: nope, i was wrong. You check for the nextattack time so its all good. I overlooked that at first so one could get away with quick switching and jumping without using ammo.

Your latest update broke the plug in, it doesn't compile. Is there a place I can download an older version? Also, will there be a way to turn off the crit buff?

The crits the increased back crit angle gave didn't do increased damage so I don't see why you'd want to disable it. If you have to: sm_pyro_backcrit 0
