Introduction:
This is a Counter-Strike: Source plugin which allows players to jump across sections of bhops without the blocks being triggered. The blocks stay in place all the time making it much more suitable for multiplayer. If a player tries to stand on or jump on a block twice, then they are teleported off to the same destination that they would be had the plugin not been enabled.

SourceMod 1.4.1+ is REQUIRED
SDK Hooks 2.1+ is REQUIRED

Commands:
mpbhops_enable <1|0> Enables/Disables the plugin.
mpbhops_color <0|1> Marks the hooked blocks with a splash of color

Hey tigerox, What OS are you running, and what other server plugins do you have? Do you have anything in your error logs?

This has been quite rigorously tested on a number of different servers and we haven't been able to get any crash what so ever.

Its caused by Hooker, not the plugin. The extension crashes the server if the map has invalid entities, multi_manager in this case.

All you can basically do is fix the flaw in Hooker and rebuild it yourself, fix the map(s) with invalid entities, or just play other maps. :grrr:

Yeah, that Is still odd though, as Aoki's test server has over 100 bhop maps now.

What map(s) were you trying it on that has a multi_manager entity? Sounds like a map that was ported from GoldSrc (CS1.6).

If you are only using Touch hook then you could use Dukehacks instead of buged Hooker.

And of course, this is a great plugin.

DH doesnt have CS:S hooks sadly, oh how I wish it did though. Actually I just want dynamic virtual function hooking in SDKTools so that I never have to rely on outdated extentions again.

I would If It had ClientPreThink and a few other hooks that I use in other plugins of mine which means I would have to load Hacks just for this which is shitty. :(

I have Downloaded this and installed it. It works fine except when I restart server or change map, it gets bugged where you can stand on it.

Can anyone help me?

Hi, is there any way to make mpbhops and estools work together?

The checkpoint system i have uses est for not loose health when you fall.

I tried loading both but that just allowed players to stand on the tiles for as long as they wanted.

So if someone could tell me how to make them work or give me a link to an addon that gives you infinite health without est then ill be super happy :)

Well, on my server, when I updated to SM 1.3.0 , plugin started to crash server, it freeze it, after time, its ping is 1800 for second, and then it crash again. I cannot downgrade sourcemod.

That's really an issue with your checkpoint system. My guess is that it makes the players non-solid which causes them be unable to interact with just about anything.

Sounds like it could be Hooker related. We have ported the plugin over to SDKHooks and will be releasing an update within a few days. Hoping it would also magically fix all the other issues anyones been having so far :stupid:

after sourcemod upgrade, now everyone can stand on "squares" where you have to bhop, and if u fail, u are teleported back, to base :[

The package includes everything needed, There is a legacy version with Hooker support for those that prefer it though, support for that will be limited.

Try 1.0.0.3 with SDK Hooks, that sounds like a Hooker problem right there.

I just installed the new version of mpbhops and installed it on my server along with eventscripts and es tools. I am using the newest version of all these addons (eventscripts is v2.0.0.250i Public Beta2), and I am having the same problem as some of the other people on this thread. When I jump on the squares I can stand on them. Is there a fix to this yet?

I have used your mod on other servers and loved it... it really helps. I just really want it to work on mine.

Off topic: When I go on another bhop server I can go pretty fast, but on my server I go slower... does anyone know why this is?

Increase the value of sv_airaccelate. Anything around 150 or more should be good for a bhop server.

Tickrate can only be 33, 66, or 100. (Some have mentioned hacking to 200 but I haven't seen it so can't say for sure with that though.)

For bhop you only need, and is the suggested value, 150 air accelerate.

ES_Tools does also mess up mpbhop plugin, I have also had this problem with it.

I haven't seen an issue with bhop_bananas on my bhop server, are there any conflicting plugins or errors occurring?

Which version of 1.0.0.3 are you using?
SDKHooks or Hooker? and is there any chance that you could try the other version?

hello, im new to this all, moding, forum and everything. I very much appreciate the work put into this mod!

I got one problem. I have downloaded everything, and put it all where it belongs. When I run my server I get nothing new. Everything is the exact same way I had it before. When I try to type in mpbhops_.... and run the command it says Unknown command :(

Is there something I'm misdoing? Am I supposed to activate something somehow?

Any help would be gladly appreciated. Also, I'm running Sourcemod 1.3 as directed. I have read up on how to use Hooks and sourcemod and everyone says that you simply have to run the server.

Any help in making this work for me would be very much appreciated.

NO there is a big difference,
on tick 200 you cant surf anymore (surf bugs everywhere) but i could reach max speed of 1200 (with bhop) :o

Download the package or the .sp files and compile it your self, the smx files will not compile because the webserver is missing vital include files.
