Max number of "modeled with sprite" entities
 
I'm trying to spawn a large number of "modeled with sprite" entities. With 144 (12*12) with instantly crashes the server. With 121 (11*11) it doesn't crash but if i try to add again another 121, it still doesn't crash but, there only appear a few. So: What is that limit? There is a way to increase it?

max entities = 15 * ( max_clients - 1 ) + 900

4465 = 15 * 31 + 4000

That thread also has some info about changing the limit, might help you.

The problem is because i'm spawning too much entities or too much "modeled with sprite" entities? I mean: do the fact that they are modeled decrease the limit?

I don't think it's a problem with the max entities here.

I was noticed the same problem while testing my tripmine plugin, after the ~120th tripmine, model is not drawed anymore ( actually 123 but it's ticking, sounds like the limit 128 ? ) and laser ( sprite ) is not drawed after the 64th.

But don't know how you can go above. :/
