The Basics !
Hi guys, im new to this forum, but i joined cuz recently im still coming back here more often, google just gets me here, when im searching somethin cstrike related... so the other days i just came up with the wish of makin a cstrike mod of my own... the problem is,
i dont kno the functions, the callbacks and wht language does it use ? There is a wiki or somethin like this for scripting ? Could someone add me on yahoo/msn to give me a bit of "mentoring" ? Also im not a scripting noob, i kno a bit of C++ and Tons of PawnO... Thnx alot and cya PS: i even searched a bit for a similar topic... no result |

The "Scripting" Section has lots of usefull explanations and examples. You can get to that link going to http://www.amxmodx.org and clicking on ".doc" under "help" Wow, that url is hilarious! :D |

You take a look into the include ( scripting/includes ) too, since the site is not updated.

i kno Pawn pretty Good, but i dont kno how an amx plugin/ addon is structred... like where the commands go, wht program should i use to script and complie and stuff like this, someone plz add me on msn / yahoo [email protected] , thnx guys, karma for all

I think this is probably the first document I would read and test to get into the world of scripting.
One place that is always good to look is the plugins that come with amxmodx. I have found out how to do many things from there. I usually start off copying some snippets from there and test it then I change it to suite my needs and test again. When you get more into it I would do an advanced search through all of the help forums (all 3) because there is a copious amount of info in these three forums. If you have trouble getting something to work, post here, the members are helpful and knowledgable. Quote:
