Example of appropriate commercial would be like this where YOUR homepage is the default link. Remove this post once the spamm is gone :P

Removed spam, added cvar:
sm_rules_href - page to open, default is {7~11} TROLL clan page

Re: Rulez_Mod

well like it says i wanted a easy to use and easy to set up rules mod. unlike some of the ones out there that i think have things that arent needed and some can be a pain in the ass. this one is simple and easy and to the point.

also this mod isnt ment to surf other website its ment to display server rules and anyother info the player may need. simple easy and to the point.

there are people who don't know to edit .sp . I suggest you to create a cvar to setting url

Re: Rulez_Mod

also suggest making it so that all they have to do is put in lines of rules they want and you put it into html code, so even people that do not have html knowledge can use it. Yes CVARS!!!!

The fact that you think recompiling a plugin is easier for the admin than using web shortcuts is fun and then the fact that you don't think they will remove your advertisment/spamm is almost even more fun. If nothing else I at least feel compeled to remove the spam

Your ads don't repeat, but here is the thing.

If you are providing a command for people to use, ads make sense. You run an ad once, tell them the command, and you are done.

If you are not providing a command, then there is no reason for an ad, and it is considered spam. 99.9% of server operators don't like to see additional join ads that do nothing but advertise your plugin, and a lot of them don't even like the ones that provide a message about an additional command.

Suggestions:

1. Create a URL convar so people can easily change it.
3. Create a convar to enable/disable your ads.
2. Run the AutoExecConfig command and create a .cfg for your plugin.
3. Include your new command in the advertisement, but not your name. Something like "!rules or /rules to get the server rules"

Hope that helps.

Troll,

You need to remove that spammy addition from the plugin or it wont be approved.
