New steam update + amxx
It seems the new steam update doesn't want to let AMXX work with Team Fortress Classic servers.
Is this a problem for anyone else on other games too? EDIT: Just tested AMXX on a CS server and it seems to work fine. EDIT2 (FIXED): Got this problem fixed. My liblist.gam file got replaced during the update. So if anyone else is having a problem getting AMXX to work with their server be sure to check that your liblist.gam file is pointing toward the metamod dll. |
Re: New steam update + amxx
this is what i get from cs
Code:
This server is using an older protocol ( 47 ) than your client ( 48 ). If you believe this server is outdated, you can contact the server administrator at (no email address specified).Edit: i checked the counter-strike forums and nothing about this. |
Re: New steam update + amxx
Yeah, just noticed TFC forces players to use our friends list name now (how lame is that?). Going to go check out CS to see what it's like.
BTW: That error just means the server you are trying to connect to needs to get the newest update. |
Re: New steam update + amxx
i checked on steam
nothing, can you help me? |
Re: New steam update + amxx
gevo, your problem is your server provider needs to update the server install.
