3rd party plugin support?
I think a forum section for '3rd party plugins' would be a great addition to the forum, at least for the plugins which arent supported anymore but people still use the plugins and need help with them. When the author abandons the plugin no one helps rarely anymore so I thoink it would help others with their problems, we could come together and help people with plugins which people need help with. Its just an idea but I think a lot of people would find that it is a big help when someone with the knowledge could help them out. Anyone agree, disagree? I would like to hear some input on the subject cause I think its time something like that came to the forum.

Re: 3rd party plugin support?
That's what the plugins topics exist for. Since there are so many plugins, an area for all of them would not be any more organized than the current system. Also, if you see any abandoned plugin and you feel you're capable of mantaining it, you can ask the moderatos so they'll give you control of it.

Re: 3rd party plugin support?
but in the plugins topics, its only like approve, unapproved, ect. its not like you can just post in one of those asking for help on a certain plugin. if the plugin isnt updated or maintained anymore most people dont check back to see if someone posted for help. im saying if we had a single subforum, where you can talk about plugins that your having trouble installing, figuring out how to edit .sma if allowed, etc. I dont see any forum which allows you to do that, its not an amx problem so you can post in there and you cant post in the subforums of the plugins cause nothing obtains to it... if you get what i mean. but yeah i kinda get what your saying about the approved plugins where people ask about questions but half of them dont get answered since some people dont know about some plugins so they cant put input into the question, so i can kind of see what your saying about that...

Re: 3rd party plugin support?
You can post in any thread in the approved/new/unapproved forums. Now, you may or may not get an answer, but if you do, or you yourself feel like taking over abandoned projects, then ask. :)
