Control of quota podbot mm bots on the server.
It keeps the constant amount of bots on the server (ie 10) until another constant amount of human-players joins the server. Then (if there is more people than that amount) - next human enters - one bot gets kicked (not before). It doesn't kick all bots at once after more than some constant minimal amount of humans is on the server, but it kicks them one by one (one bot for one player above the minimum humans on the server), but it's the common thing the people are asking me here and at bots-united forum. Plugin cvars: pb_min_humans (default - 10) pb_bots_quota (default - 10) Once more - this plugin is supposed to keep the constant amount of bots all the time on the server - unless the condition is not fullfilled: (amount_of_humans - pb_min_humans - pb_bots_quota <= 0) If You want to remove the bots You can pause this plugin, then use pb removebots command. Isnt this in the .cfg for the podbot_mm module? (that I use frequently) :D

I have been adviced always to compile the plugins against the latest version of AMX X. Since the online compiler still compiles the plugins against AMX X 1.76d, I've attached the amxx file, too (compiled against AMX X 1.8.0). Even if doesn't require the newest AMX X, it's always better to have the plugins in Your amxmodx\plugins folder compiled to the version You are using. I believe most of the users are using now 1.8.0 version. So I'll leave it until web compiler is ready. ;)

Well plugin works fine but when I connect to server then 2 bots are kicked of (one bot from T and one from CT) and then i changed map and again two bots are kicked then in my server have - 4 bots . And they from previous map don't return to game why ? With each new changed map I have two bots less even if I alone are connected .

Either You are using yet other bots (not only podbot mm) or You have done something incorrect. If You are the only person, there should be 10 bots (not 16).
Can anybody else confirm if he has the same wrong behavior of this plugin? Can anyone test it, please? |

A great feature of either this plugin here or your podbotmenu were, if players were able to vote (when no admins are online) if they want to play with bots or not. As you can see h e r e in our chatlogs players are often searching for such a command or flaming because there is none ^^
It should start a voting (e.g. /bots) with these choices: 1. Kick all BOTs 2. Kick random BOT 3. Fill Server with BOTs (max amount controlled via CVAR) 4. Add random BOT 5. No change Of course there should be some other functions/cvars such as 1. Max. Votes in a specified amount of time 2. Needed quota that a vote takes effect 3. Perhaps some kind of autoresponder. e.g. when someone writes something that contains the phrase "bots" like "Damn it, someone kick these Fu&$%ng Bots..." (I often read this kind of sentence in my server ^^ - the server response: "To start a vote to kick or add bots type /bots in the chat". 4. Enable voting only when there is no admin online or always? (cvar) 5. If bots were kicked due to a vote and all human players have left, should bots be added again or should the default settings be restored? (to attract people) 6. Perphaps the possibility that a single human player can access the potbotmenu when he is the only human in the server. Restrict access and enable vote-option as soon as there a more than 2 human players. 7. and so on... I guess this sounds more like a hole new plugin, some kind of PODBOT-Management, but I am searching for this since years and just thought I let you know, cause this is your project. I guess a plugin like this, a (non-admin/admin) management of bots would attract a lot of people and would make gaming with/or without PODBOT a lot easier and variable. My gamers would love it - for sure... Curry |

why do my bots not function properly in de_dust_2007_cz? they stay at spawn like like retards? i have amxx 1.8 and no bot plugin? if i install this plugin will they work?

‚hi to all....
i have some problem whit this plugin... i installed it and it work ok...but... when map is changed bots coming in play and gets kicked and this is looped several times... join .... kick join...kick etc. can this plugin made just to insert bots number form pb_bots_quota insted of joinig and kicking bots to reach this quota :nono:. plx-help |

What Settings must have the podbot.cfg
Specially: pb_minbots pb_maxbots pb_bot_quota_match and the amxx_podbot_ctrl.amxx/sma Specially: pb_min_humans pb_bots_quota .. that when no Humanplayer is on the Server there are 6 Bots (3 in every Team). When a User connect ONE Bot have to get kicked. (1 Human, 5 Bots). Then 2 other Humans connect.. two bots get kicked (3 humans, 3 bots). And when over 6 humans are playing all bots are offline. when some humans disconnect and there are only 5 on the server.. one bot have to connect. Sry for my bad english.. but can someone help me for the Settings? Its a Counter-Strike 1.6 Publicserver. Newest PODBOT and AMXX installed. |

This functionality You are asking about is build-in podbot mm module, so You don't need to use this plugin. All You need is to have in podbot.cfg:
pb_minbots 0 pb_maxbots 6 (or more in the case You want to have later more bots) pb add 100 pb add 100 pb add 100 pb add 100 pb add 100 pb add 100 (6 lines adding bots puts 6 bots on the server) or this way: pb_minbots 0 pb_maxbots 6 pb fillserver 100 Just remember - pb_maxbots it's only the limit for "pb fillserver" command (it doesn't add automatically any amount of bots - You still need to add them by "pb add" or "pb fillserver" command). Another thing - settings are with underscore line between "pb" prefix and the setting's name (like pb_maxbots), commands are using a space between the "pb" prefix and the main command (pb add). |

Hi i have a problem doesnt work :-( i have steam dedicated server 1.6
i have install the plugin normal and the bot i have install i have add the line win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll in the plugin.ini in the metafolder its look now: ; AMX Mod X win32 addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm.dll linux addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm_i386.so ; AMX Mod X Binary Logging Mode ;win32 addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_bl_mm.dll ;linux addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_bl_mm_i386.so win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll then i have copy the podbot folder in the cstrike folder now i cant add bots :-( what i make wrong |

Hi I wanted to ask but if you have the same script again can only write it for the ZBot is the PODbot because I do not think well on my server are very partial to the many new maps and there are no waypoints and I find it really hard and it Far too much is own waypoints to create, I use the ZBot |

Currently I have "pb_minbots 2" and I use 4 addbot lines.
That way, two bots get disconnected when there are two players. And 2 bots are left no matter what from this point. Is it possible with this plugin to have those 2 bots disconnected one-by-one when there are over 10 players? I mean, that when there are 8 players and 2 bots, each additional player would replace a bot. For some reason, I doubt this plugin can do that.. Also, if an admin kicks a bot, it another should rejoin. We use "pb add" and kick too stupid or too good bots depending on the mood. |

I have an idea. What I have said can be archieved by having a plugin automatically adjust the pb_minbots setting. If there are for example 12 players online, it should set pb_minbots to 0, if 11 - set to 1, if 10 - set to 2.

Sometimes the BOTs become invisible with this plugin. Maybe it has something to do with this plugin, Aimbot detect:

Yeah - it's caused by that plugin altering visibility of Fakeclients.
About that new feature - it will not be done. It would completly change the work and design of this plugin. You may need completly new plugin to have those features. But I'm not going to program it (I don't have time for it, sorry). I'm currently supporting my plugins as "they are" - without adding new extensions/features to them. |

An idea. When bots are added to the same team, it sometimes becomes annoying... A team with 2 bots is usually weaker.
It could add the second bot to the opposite team and so on.. First, though, could be random "pb add". |
