Run-time error plugin debug problems
I keep getting this message,
L 03/25/2008 - 12:15:07: Invalid player id 173 L 03/25/2008 - 12:15:07: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "bullet_damage.amxx") L 03/25/2008 - 12:15:07: [AMXX] Run time error 10: native error (native "show_hudmessage") L 03/25/2008 - 12:15:07: [AMXX] [0] 783.attach::damage_msg (line 27) I put in debug the first time it said that. Does this message in server console mean anything? Also im getting this, L 03/25/2008 - 13:54:38: [CSTRIKE] Invalid player 2 L 03/25/2008 - 13:54:38: [AMXX] Run time error 10 (plugin "invis.amxx") (native "cs_set_user_team") - debug not enabled! L 03/25/2008 - 13:54:38: [AMXX] To enable debug mode, add "debug" after the plugin name in plugins.ini (without quotes). Should I put debug in? or not? I dont understand it!! **Sorry for putting the topic in all caps!!** |

Re: WHY AM I GETTING THIS MESSAGE IN SERVER CONSOLE?????
Signature explains it all...
|
Re: WHY AM I GETTING THIS MESSAGE IN SERVER CONSOLE?????
You might want to post in Scripting Help if bullet_damage looks to have been abandoned by its author. That issue is trivial to fix.

You show a hudmassage for ent 173 which actually isnt a player. And that's why the error appears. Try adding some ceecks before showing the hudmessage in the plugin. |

Re: I'm an idiot and I like to make topic titles in all caps
You are supposed to know, because we expect you and all new users to read the global forum rules, and then for each sub-forum you have independent rules you need to follow.
Read the rules. |
Re: I'm an idiot and I like to make topic titles in all caps

Re: I'm an idiot and I like to make topic titles in all caps
I think maturity should be a requirement to post, maybe not full maturity, but at least enough to be able to fit in.

Re: I'm an idiot and I like to make topic titles in all caps
If you really want to know, I did it. I did it because you had your entire title in caps. I was debating if I should change it to lower case or just change it. I decided on just changing it because it states in the rules to not have your title in all caps and to use a descriptive title. You are free to change it if you want, if you can't change it for whatever reason, PM me the topic url and the new title name you want. You must be the OP if you want me to do this, or someone of good standing :P

You are age doesn't matter anything to any of us. If you lack the brains to understand the forum rules, you may might aswell be banished from here. Also, if you lack the brains to understand that I helped and gave you the answer to your problem, you could go out and do something else, and come back here when you do have the brains to understand that. |
Re: I'm an idiot and I like to make topic titles in all caps

Re: I'm an idiot and I like to make topic titles in all caps
I haven't done enough research into this, but v3x has the exact same problem this guy is having and instead of telling him that he is an idiot for having such problem, maybe you should try to help him find a solution.

Re: Run-time error plugin debug problems
I am not smart into this stuff, You know why? Because I dont sit on the computer all day looking up this stuff.
|
Re: Run-time error plugin debug problems
We don't sit at our computer all day and look up this either. The ones who know what they are doing have been doing it for a while. Just because you don't sit at your computer all day doesn't mean you can't be good at something

Re: Run-time error plugin debug problems
Post in scripting help if you have an issue creating a script, or if it is an already existing plugin, post in the thread where you got the plugin from.
Off-Topic is too trollish for help. |
