problem with emit_sound
i have a wav which has a buildin loop
now when i call emit_sound(entid, CHAN_STREAM, "mysound.wav", 1.0, 1.2, 0, PITCH_NORM) it starts the sound and it loops, but after some time it just stop it happens mostly when there is noone near the ent which is emitting the looping wav but it also happens while standing next to it, instead of replay the wav it just stopped as if the wav had no loop in it changing the the 6th argument ( the "0" ) to 1 or 2 did not helped PS: changing the channel does not wok neither and as i am changing position of the ent it should be played and new position, achiving this by reusing emit_sound. now if channel is not chan_stream there will be 2 or more location where the wav is played |
