Ping in the score table?

Hey all,
I've seen plugins like "remeber the frags",etc..replacing infos into the Score table so my question is as simple as this:
Could we manipulate the ping/latency(like faking it) in the score table as the frags,etc...?

I've thought about some ways but the plugin would have to act every frames so it would kinda make the server lag when many players would join...

Thanks,

I have tried to do this a long time ago, but I found out that it would probably require a client side modification...

yea, I know it CAN be done client side, as I have done it before, but im sure the server has some sort of control over it. It must send the time when the ping reached server and when sent back etc etc, would be a pain in the ass to grab that and spoof it

Yea the server has to send the information... but it's not sent as a standard message you can modify.. it's weird

Yea i've done it clientside too,i tried with an ogc base hook and just made the player frames...The thing now is to know if amx is capable of modifying the message sent to the client or not...

hmm maybe some playersprivate data?

I think it's engine-internal. The client dll gets the ping through an engine call...

Yea thats what i thought...
