MapChooser Beta

I have commited fixes for the test version of MapChooser and hereby declare it "Beta".

Possible issues that I know of at this time:

- Cstrike may not always obey timelimit. It is possible that the map will end without a vote. Can't fix this, sorry. It relies on another peice of SM that's not quite finished yet. Winlimit and Maxrounds is fine though.

- DoD may not obey winlimit. I don't ever play DoD and don't have a test server for it, so can't test currently. If anyone can confirm the team id #s for Axis and Allied teams in DoD, I can be more certain on this. For example, in CSS, Terrorist is team 3, CT is team 4. If DoD is the same, then it will work just fine.

Cvars:

sm_mapvote_start - Specifies the time to start the vote when this much time remains. Default 3, minimum 1
sm_extendmap_maxtime - Specifies the maximum amount of time a map can be extended, default 90
sm_extendmap_timestep - Specifies how much many more minutes each extension makes, default 15, minimum 5
sm_extendmap_maxrounds - Specfies the maximum amount of rounds a map can be extended, default 30
sm_extendmap_roundstep - Specifies how many more rounds each extension makes, default 5, minimum 5
sm_mapvote_file - Map file to use. (Def sourcemod/configs/maps.ini). If not found, it falls back on mapcyclefile.
sm_mapvote_exclude - Specifies how many past maps to exclude from the vote. Default 5, minimum 0, ignored if you have fewer maps in your cycle than this value.

Thank you for your efforts. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way earlier.

What do I need to do? I shall use the old version. It works well.

Funny, cause everyone tells me it doesn't work any more :/

You have to compile mapchooser.sp in the latest build's scripting folder.

I know, that it is necessary to compile. I about it speak it:

Re: MapChooser Beta

2 Ferret: please make a plugin's own standalone config file (put it for example to /cstrike/cfg/sourcemod/sm_mapchooser.cfg) for all its variables...

=)

That will occur when its officially added to the builds.

Re: MapChooser Beta

Ferret - great work, love the idea, can't find the thing.... lol

Where would I find either the plugin or source to beta this?

Also, if you know that is, where would I find a sm_votercon plugin? It seems that the major approved vote managers have functionality to run execute commands on the server, but they are all fixed thus far with alltalk, gravity, etc. I'm looking for something that would work in the following manner:

sm_votercon <question> (default yes/no) server command(s) to run if yes

*EDIT* - Question 1 was resolved, found it in the disabled plugins folder. Question 2, while not on-topic for this thread (apologize) still stands.

Re: MapChooser Beta

Another addition request for this one: sm_randomvote <number of maps> <now/round end/ mapend>

Possible in this one, or exists elsewhere?
