i need help with playing sound(dynamic volume)
i want to play a sound only to one player(other player cant hear it) and be able to set the volume of this sound need this for flashbang effect, that will play the shock sound at dynamic volume depending on distance from exploding flashbang

You can already do that with emit_soud(). The volume of sounds is dynamic depending on distance of players.
Now you want the sound heard only by a player. I don't know how to do that... :o |

Set the index of player, and the channel to "CHAN_AUTO", should emit the sound only for that player.
@voi - for what you look, you must emit the sound from "FlashBang" ent... emit_sound(ent...), and CHAN_VOICE... |

yes it would be handy if SendAudio got a volume info like it has pitch info...

The grenade effect master, diamond-optic, has already conquered this mountain in DoD Shellshock: http://dodplugins.net/forums/showthread.php?t=56 Check out his code for the volume stuff. It drops your volume level and even gives you this crazy effect where it seems like the footsteps are all around you and you literally feel dizzy. I don't even know how he does it; but it's in the code. EDIT: and yeah, it's friggin compatible with your mod..cs, ts, BS, whatever |

ive done that all by myself, but i dont wanna mess with someones volume, just stopsound, play loud concussion sound(in volume dependable of distance to flashbang) and really psychodelic echo effects
