well ya, the server is by clan servers

and what do u mean a readonly file? how does that affect? and for what file?

What FTP client do you use? You may have to edit CHMod permissions. Also, I hope you didn't use their install panel to install AMX Mod X.

i use the IE FTP....why wich one would u recommned?

Their installation of AMX Mod X is extremely out of date. :P

As for FTP client, you might wanna chose another one. As far as I know, IE doesn't support CHMod permission editing.

so i guess ima have to reinstall server and do a full wipe?

well ya when i go into FTP Access i click that then it says like

To view this FTP site in Windows Explorer, click Page, and then click Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer

No, you don't have to uninstall anything. Just overwrite the dlls folder, the modules folder, and the plugins folder using the files found in 1.76d.

As I said, try using something other then IE. For example, SmartFTP requires you to right click and just edit permissions.

Install. Open a connection. Find the plugins.ini. Right click and click properties. Then post the number you see. It should be 755 or 777.

So... it isn't the permissions. Try editing the plugins.ini using SmartFTP and if you can't, send an email to your server host. They are the only ones who can fix it at that point.
