Plugin to completely stop timeout error.

Hello. I frequently play deathmatch OFFLINE (using BAILOPAN'S csdm plugin) with bots on my CS 1.6 listenserver. However, after a couple of minutes, I get disconnected and receive this error message in the console: Load failed. Connection to server lost due to level change. After experimenting I am pretty sure that this is a timeout problem, because if I increase cl_timeout and sv_timeout, there is a longer delay before I am disconnected. No matter how high I put the value, though, it will eventually do the same thing. Is there any way a plugin could prevent such timeout errors. Thanks.

This is not a plugin related issue.
Get a faster internet connection.

I'm playing offline on a server I created (listernserver).

Maybe your computer's not fast enough to start a listen server and play at the same time?

If it's a CSDM error, which it doesn't seem like it is, you should post it on the CSDM boards.

But yea... what are you computer specs?

Re: Plugin to completely stop timeout error.

I temporarily uninstalled CSDM, and the problem is still there so that's not it.
My specs should be more than enough to handle it but here it is anyways:
P4 2.8 GHz CPU
1GB RDRAM
320 GB HD
Windows XP Pro
Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS

EDIT: like I said in my first post, the higher the values of cl_timeout and sv_timeout, the longer the problem takes to occur. The thing is, the cvars have a cap on how high they can go before resetting to their default values. Would a plugin be able to modify those cvars so that they have unlimited capacity?

I'm pretty sure that's built into the HL engine, so no.
