Repeating switch through game types(Classic, CSDM, another mod) after mapcycle ends
mapcycle:
cs_assault de_aztec de_dust de_dust2 >>> When mapcycle ends -> Switch to next game type >>> When gametypes ends -> start from first gametype. game types: :START 1. Classic 2. CSDM 3. another mod ... goto :START Easy and stupid variant to do this: :START cs_assault de_aztec de_dust de_dust2 enable CSDM for all maps below using maps/mapname.cfg cs_assault2 (just renamed original cs_assault) de_aztec2 (just renamed original de_aztec) de_dust2 (just renamed original de_dust) de_dust22 (just renamed original de_dust2) enable Another mod for all maps below using maps/mapname.cfg cs_assault3 (just renamed original cs_assault) de_aztec3 (just renamed original de_aztec) de_dust3 (just renamed original de_dust) de_dust23 (just renamed original de_dust2) goto :START In this case, clients will have to download copy of maps because i want to use different conditions for same maps and maps/mapsname.cfg not supposed to use so. How to make it nice? |

Your method may not work because of one reason - CSDM reads everytime at map start its csdm.cfg so if there is enabled = 0 - it will not be activated except Your cs_assault (because You enabled it for that map and only for that map). I'll try to think a bit of it later to find something for You, but I think You may need to write a separate plugin which will change the mapname.cfg files for You.

I think You can ask in Scripting Help of AMX X forum how to write the plugin changing the mode of Your CS (normal, CSDM, another mod..). I think there might be the only way to change by plugin the files mapname.cfg according to the mapcycle (amx_nextmap) state.
I haven't had time to think more about this, but Your question is not related to CSDM2, but to the whole AMX X work, so You should ask there (link above). |
