How to execute on server shell?

How can I execute a command on the server shell? (IE, linux shell, not hlds shell)

I can't seem to find any function to do this from the funcwiki.

Thanks!

There isn't one, and I imagine it would be dangerous to have one.

Ah, nuts. I want to run a command to update my stats when the round ends. This might be possible with a module you say?

I remember, a long time ago, someone asked for a shell command function, and somone quickly compiled a module with that one native to do so. However, after searching, I was not able to find it again. :(
