Forcing clients to re-download a file?

Hi, is there a way to force clients to re-download a file they already have?

I'm pretty sure there isn't.

The only Way is to check if client and server have the same file and kick who not have the same.

Re: Forcing clients to re-download a file?

Hmm, I have some Counter-Strike maps on my Team Fortress Classic servers. The decals.wad file doesn't contain a lot of textures from Counter-Strikes decals.wad.

I added all the TFC + CS textures in decals.wad into a new decals.wad. I wanted to force players to re-download this, but I guess it's not possible :P

I will just do what teame06 said.
"Tell them to delete the file off there computer."

Thanks :)

Little Tip:rename the new Decals.wad and let them download this renamed file.Or search a lot in Google, there are some special .wad file to play converted maps to another mods.
Here a link that show how convert maps :http://www.joe.to/cstrike/ents/
