stripting help

Hello, I don't know if this is in the right section, but i'm giving it a shot anyways.

I would like to ask for a tutor. Somebody to help me learn amxx, and help me make a plugin. I am a quick learner and all that stuff, but I failed miserably at teaching myself.

PM me if interested/for details.

Re: stripting help

Well I know its not what your looking for, but go to amxmodx.org and check out the wiki, check out some tutorials, and best of all check out some simple plugins (plugins that do simple things like restart). After that try making a plugin and just post for help in this section with your code.

A suggestion is to look into th efollowing functions to help start out
client_cmd
set_task
server_cmd
set_user_armor
set_user_health
get_user_name
client_print
server_print

Look at other plugins.

Re: stripting help

He has already found a tutor, no need to continue this thread. However, it is extremely stupid to just start using functions and not have any clue what's going on around it. The learning process usually goes something like this:
  • Variables.
  • Functions.
  • Program flow control (this can be switched with the latter).
  • etc

Pawn was built off of C. The compiler however was programmed in C++ I believe.
