Max Helth per user - TFC Q
This might sound dumb, but is there away to find what a users MAX health is ? By MAX health I mean the most life they can get before the server will start to reduce there life due to it being over X amount.
I know I could just hard code in the values for each class, but I was wondering if there was a way to just get the "know" MAX per user. (I'm trying NOT to make this a TFC only plugin) Back info on TFC (for those who don't know): In TFC your Class starts out with X life, This value differs from class to class. And if your life is over X then the system will reduce your life 1 point per sec. Until it reachs X again. |

I don't have an answer for you. But, in NeoTF, if you use "addhealth" your health is set to around 2000(?) points or so. It doesn't fade with time, but it does go from 255 to 0 several times as you lose the health from damage. The HUD seems to only reflect 0-255, but the value seems to be able to go much higher.

Sven Coop supports Health, Armor and Ammo to be displayed correctly from 0 to 999.
All other Games do this from 0 to 255. |

You could try checking EV_FL_max_health/pev_max_health. They might be set properly.

What ever you do. Do not set a Players Health/Armor/Ammo over the Limits.
Also, do not set a Players Health under 1, or their Armor or Ammo under 0. For example, in Sven Cooperative you can crash a Clients Game by setting his Health to 5000. I figured this out when playing with Entity Mod. (Players look at you, type "entmod_keyvalue health 5000" in Console and your game crashes) :O |
