Crossing Events [SOLVED]
i dont think this is important enough for the scripting help section , so i jsut wanna ask a question . does any body know the effects(or better yet the consequenses) of crossing to events together ? or rather , crossing a weapons event with a forward like pre-think? any ideas ?:up:

"crossing events" , i registered a CurWeapon Event , and i registered a forward (pre think) , and i assigned them both the same function to handle the events and forward . so both my events and forward go through 1 function . it works but im not sure if theres some adverse side effects . :wink:

In that particular case it would work, since the first parameter is always forwarded as the ID.
However, remember that prethink is called once per server frame for every client connected... |

yeah i know , i didnt want to use it but im blockign weapon fire for my new plugin (hopefully relased this week) . is there an easy way to block or pause client side animation ?

Crossing events is alright, but combining one that happens every single frame and one that only happens occasionally is a waste.

I don't understand why you won't use set_task but you quite enjoy using prethink.
