Overclocking
I would like to overclock my amd sempron 3400+ 2.0 ghz
what program would i use to do this or what would i have to do to do this |
Re: Overclocking
you don't overclock proccesors through programs usaully, you have to enter your bios (press the button [written on screen during startup] that says setup or bios or somethign) and you have to edit stuff manually

Re: Overclocking
my bios wont let me adjust those settings  any other way?
|
Re: Overclocking
Google how to overclock your specific processor and motherboard...
There is usually a way to open up the case and change a few things on the mobo. |
Re: Overclocking
lol a program to overclock... I wish, :P
Overclock can damage your processor, and voids any warranty you may hold. =/ |
Re: Overclocking
Actually in the new AMD athalons, there is a program that comes with your bios known as AI booster. It enables you to overclock without going into the bios.

Re: Overclocking
I have an Intel, and the ASUS mobo came with overclocking software called AI Suite. knekter is right, you don't need to go into the bios. Theres a fancy little button you push with a picture of a NOS bottle.
