making mist
i know this is possible but i don't know how to do it myself
i want to make a small plugin where smoke is generated on the map every few seconds this will make it look like mist or maybe fog i just want the smoke to be generated at eye level |

You're going to be dealing with temp entities. I may be wrong, but Harbu's RP plugin should have code in there to make it look like the player is smoking a cigar. It had it the last time I checked.
Maybe env_sprite or cycler_sprite... see if Harbu's code has the smoke effect in there. From there, I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to write, but keep in mind all maps have different sizes and elevations... elevations might be hard... unless you want just a cloud of fog following the player. |

By following I mean changing x y z coordinates exactly as the coordinates of the player change, not trailing behind the player somehow.
